OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's volleyball team swept Stephens College in straight sets (25-22, 25-14, 25-16) inside Wilson Field House on Friday evening.
The Braves (2-5) hit an efficient .279 as a team while holding Stephens (3-4) to just .075. Ottawa tallied 40 kills compared to 30 from the Stars and controlled the net with 4.0 total team blocks.

Key Performers for Ottawa

• Bailee Nickel led all attackers with 12 kills, hitting .281 and adding 2 service aces.
• Samantha Stahl was strong at the net, recording 9 kills on .350 hitting with 10 digs.
• Campbell Stark contributed 8 kills and 2 block assists, while Lillian Holden was nearly perfect, finishing with 3 kills on a .600 clip.
• Madison Brauner directed the offense with 18 assists, and Makela Martinez added 11.
• Defensively, Carson Schuman and Stahl anchored the back row with 8 and 10 digs, respectively.

For Stephens, Makenna Bollinger paced the Stars with 10 kills and 6 digs, while Lena Hunziker added 7 kills. Setter Emma Whitson dished out 21 assists and libero Kiley Smetzer collected a team-high 12 digs.
