Women's Basketball Rolls Past Bulldogs, 87–66, in Wire-to-Wire Road Win

MCPHERSON, Kan. — Ottawa University women's basketball controlled the game from the opening tip and never looked back, defeating McPherson College 87–66 on Saturday afternoon at Holman Fieldhouse

First Quarter
Ottawa set the tone early with strong ball movement and pressure defense, jumping out to a quick lead. McKinley Kruger and Kaelynn Duncan paced the offense as the Braves built a nine-point advantage and closed the quarter up 22–13.

Second Quarter
The Braves exploded in the second, outscoring McPherson 24–8. Ottawa forced turnovers, converted in transition, and knocked down timely perimeter shots to stretch the margin to 46–21 at halftime.

Third Quarter
Ottawa stayed aggressive coming out of the break, pushing the tempo and continuing to capitalize on defensive stops. The Braves posted a 22–17 edge in the quarter and took a commanding 68–38 lead into the final period.

Fourth Quarter
McPherson made a push behind hot shooting, but Ottawa answered every run. The Braves matched the Bulldogs' energy late, highlighted by efficient scoring inside and solid free-throw shooting, to secure the 87–66 victory.
