Box Score OTTAWA, Kan. - The (RV) Ottawa University men's volleyball team won 3-2 (23-25, 25-20, 25-14, 19-25, 15-11) over Culver-Stockton College inside the friendly confines of the Mabee Center on Friday night.

Set 1 – Culver-Stockton 25, Ottawa 23
The Wildcats stormed out to an early 5-1 deficit as Culver-Stockton used aggressive serving and strong net play to seize control. Ottawa clawed back behind kills from
Marko Zolnjan and
Petar Lazic, eventually tying the frame at 19-19. But timely Wildcat swings and a late side-out sealed the opener for the visitors.
Set 2 – Ottawa 25, Culver-Stockton 20
Ottawa responded with poise. After falling behind 5-3, the Braves used a strong serving run from
Petar Lazic to flip momentum.
Marko Zolnjan caught fire from the pin, and a late 6-2 push created separation as Ottawa evened the match.
Set 3 – Ottawa 25, Culver-Stockton 14
The Braves dominated the third. A blistering 4-0 start — fueled by back-to-back service aces from Zolnjan — put the Wildcats on their heels. Ottawa held Culver-Stockton to a negative hitting percentage in the set and stretched the lead to as many as 17 points before cruising to a 2-1 match advantage.
Set 4 – Culver-Stockton 25, Ottawa 19
The Wildcats refused to go away. Despite several strong middle connections between
Quentin Le Dortz and
Kadeem Morris, Culver-Stockton capitalized on key Ottawa attack errors to force a decisive fifth set.
Set 5 – Ottawa 15, Culver-Stockton 11
In the race to 15, Ottawa's composure showed. Tied at 5-5, the Braves used a balanced attack to build separation. A late block and clutch swings from Zolnjan provided breathing room before the Braves closed it out at 15-11.
