OTTAWA, Kan. – The #13 Ottawa women's wrestling team is hosting the University of Saint Mary Spires on Thursday in Wilson Field House. The Braves will be honoring four seniors for senior night, Livia Swift, Macey Gross, Dajia Anderson and Adelynn Howat.

Last time out, Ottawa competed at the KCAC/SAC Duals. Ottawa competed against four teams. Ottawa vs. Oklahoma City – W, 33-14 Aynsley Fink took down Sofia Bramson in the 103lb weight division. Addison Saporito and Peyton Hand won by forfeit their weight classes. Aileen Lester pinned Natalia Posada in the 138lb. Darby Weidl won by fall over Makayla Munoz in the 160lb weight division. Hannah Jackson won a 9-0 decision over Symphony Veloz in the 180lb. Kena Leonard finished off the dual with a victory by fall over Ella Murphey in the 207lb weight class.
Ottawa vs. Texas Wesleyan – W, 40-7
Aynsley Fink, Daityn Webb and Addison Saporito won their matches by forfeit. Peyton Hand defeated Violet De La Cruz in the 124lb weight division. Kaydence Bonewell and Aileen Lester pinned their opponents in back to back matches. Darby Weidl and Ciera Hutton-Spieker won their matches by forfeit.
Ottawa vs. Central Christian – W, 49-0
Aynsley Fink and Sydnee Baldwin both won their matches by forfeit. Addison Saporito pinned Shaelynn Wallberg in 21 seconds in the 117lb weight division. Peyton Hand, Aileen Lester, Haley Flores, Darby Weidl and Ciera Hutton-Spieker all won by forfeit. Lainey Farley defeated Paige Winters on a technical fall in the 131lb weight division. KyLee Lindsley defeated Emily Hess on a fall in 20 seconds in the 207lb weight class.
Ottawa vs. Wayland Baptist – L, 34-12
Aileen Lester won by fall in the 138lb weight division over Avery Shinkle. Hannah Jackson won an 8-4 decision over Ambre Chevreau in the 180lb weight class.
Ottawa is 13^th in the latest NAIA poll. Aynsley Fink is sixth in the 103lb weight division. Sigrun Metzger and Addison Saporito are ranked in the 117lb weight class, Metzger is 17^th and Saporito is 20^th. Peyton Hand is 20^th in the 124lb weight division. In the 138lb weight class, Aileen Lester is 15^th. Kaitlyn Thorn is 19^th in the 145lb weight class. Darby Weidl moves back into the rankings in the 160lb weight division and is ranked eighth. Ciera Hutton-Spieker is eighth and Siara Arrington is 12^th in the 180lb weight division. Kena Leonard is 19^th in the 207lb weight class.

Ottawa is 5-3-1 all time against Saint Mary. In 2025, Ottawa fell to Saint Mary 25-23.
