ATCHISON, Kan. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team opened conference play with a loss as they were defeated by Benedictine by a score of 29-0 on Saturday evening in Atchison.
Benedictine had scoring quarters of 11, 10, 5, and 3, all while holding Ottawa scoreless.
Dylan Murano made ten saves in goal for the Braves.
Benedictine led total shots 74 to three and shots on goal 39 to one. The Ravens were 11 for 13 in clear attempts, Ottawa was three for 22.
Ottawa (0-6, 0-1 HAAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, March 18 as they travel to Marshall, Missouri a conference matchup at Missouri Valley College. That game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
