OTTAWA, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa University men's volleyball team fell in straight sets (25-12, 25-19, 26-24) to (15) Grand View University inside Mabee Center on Tuesday evening.

Ottawa found itself playing from behind early, as Grand View used a strong opening run to take control of set one. The Vikings built a 17-9 lead midway through the frame and never looked back, taking the set 25-12.
The Braves responded with more energy in the second set. Ottawa stayed within striking distance and cut the deficit to 19-16 after a run sparked by kills from
Macort Pickup and
Marko Zolnjan. However, Grand View closed the set on a late surge to take a 2-0 match lead.
Ottawa saved its best for the third set. The Braves battled point-for-point and erased multiple deficits late. Trailing 23-21, Ottawa rallied behind key plays from Pickup and
Petar Lazic to tie the set at 24-24. The Braves had chances, but Grand View capitalized on the final two points to secure the sweep, 26-24.
