OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team suffered defeat at home as they fell to William Woods by a score of 18-2 on Saturday afternoon at AdventHealth Field.
The game started fairly close as William Woods scored the first goal and Ottawa tied it up with the next, and that happened again with the scores level at 2-2. William Woods controlled the rest of the game handily, scoring sixteen goals unanswered to bring home the win.
Ashton Buckalew and
Cameron Brown scored one goal each for Ottawa.
Dylan Murano made 20 saves in goal for the Braves.
Ottawa (1-8, 0-3 HAAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, April 1 as they travel to Fremont, Nebraska for a road game at Midland University. That game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
