CANTON, Mo. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team won their third straight game as they beat Culver-Stockton by a score of 16-6 on Wednesday afternoon in Canton.
Ottawa started strong, leading 7-0 after the first quarter and 12-1 at halftime. The Braves used quarters of 3-1 and 1-4 to secure their victory.
Brianna Valadao led Ottawa with five goals,
KaiAnna Senne scored three.
Rilee Barnett and
Makayla Mason scored two goals each,
Curstin Brown,
Hayden McIntosh,
Liv Staberg, and
Faith Ruoff scored one each. Barnett made three assists, Senne made two, Brown made one.
Saniya Watt made four saves in goal for Ottawa.
Ottawa (3-7, 3-1 HAAC) returns to the field on Saturday, April 11 as they host the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis at AdventHealth Field. That game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.
