NEVADA, Mo. – The Ottawa women's golf team kicked off the 2026 season and earned second place at the Cottey Fall Invitational. The Braves earned second place with a combined score of 690 (344, 346).

Aubrey Vasquez and Jaylah Smith tied for sixth with a combined score of 168. Vasquez finished with a round one score of 87 and round two of 81 and Smith shot an 83 in round one and round two of 85. Alexis Overstreet finished in eighth place with a two-round score of 171 (81, 90). Kayla Efurd shot a round one score of 93 and round two of 90 (183) to place 11^th.
