2024-25: Austermann finished 13th in the 93kg/205lb weight class at the University Nationals.. He finished the event with a 252.5kg/556lb squat, a 172.5kg/380lb bench, and a 267.5kg/589lb dead lift for a 670kg/1,477lb total.

High School: Austermann lettered in powerlifting, football, and basketball at Flatirons Academy. He holds the Colorado deadlift Teen 2 state record and a Colorado Total Teen 2 state record. Austermann placed 16th at high school nationals.

Personal: Son of Steve and Shermala Austermann ... exercise science major. Austermann enjoys playing the drums.
