2025-26: Redshirt

High School: Hepner lettered in basketball, baseball, and soccer at Ottawa High School. He was part of FCA, Student Council, Renaissance, and NHS. Hepner helped the Cyclones to a third place finish at the Kansas State 4A Basketball Tournament. He was selected to play in the 2025 KCBA All-Star Game. Hepner was a First Team All-Frontier League selection as a senior. As a junior and senior, he earned Second Team honors. Hepner was named Second Team All-State his senior season and was an Honorable Mention selection as a junior and senior. He was a three-time Ottawa Herald All-Area selection. 

Personal: Son of Jenise and Wade Hepner ... business administration major. His father, mother, and aunt all attended Ottawa University. His father, Wade, was a member of the OU men's basketball team (1997-99). His mother Jenise was a member of the women's basketball (1999-02) and softball (2000-03) teams. Caleb's aunt Jamie was a member of the women's volleyball (1997-2000) and softball (1998-01) teams. Jenise was a First Team All-KCAC selection on the softball diamond in 2001. Jamie was named KCAC Freshman of the Year on the volleyball court in 1999. She was a three-time All-KCAC selection in volleyball, twice being named First Team. She was a three-time First Team All-KCAC selection on the diamond and earned Honorable Mention honors as a freshman.
