2014: Heilman helped OU earn its second straight bid to the NAIA Cross Country National Championships with a second place finish at the KCAC Cross Country Championships. She ran a time of 24:52 at the Romp on the Ridge hosted by Hutchinson Community College. Heilman finished with a time of 24:36 at the ESU Invitational. She finished the Haskell Indian Nations Invitational with a time of 22:31. Heilman ran a time of 21:20 at the Bethel Invitational. She finished the KCAC Championships with a time of 20:40.3. Heilman ran a time of 20:42 at the Mid States Classic hosted by Southwestern College. She ran a time of 21:27.3 at the NAIA National Championships. Heilman was named a Daktronic Scholar Athlete.

2013: In her first collegiate race, Heilman finished 69^th with a time of 24:51 at the Viking Invitational hosted by Grand View University. She finished 35^th at the Tabor Cross Country Meet with a time of 23:52.76.

2012: Heilman redshirted her freshman season.

High School: Heilman earned four letters in track and cross country for Great Bend High School. She has earned All-WAC honors three times for the Panthers. Heilman ran the 1600M, the 800M, and was a member of the 4x800M and 4x400M Relay teams.
