Biography

2014: In her first collegiate season Branscum helped the Lady Braves finish second in the KCAC and qualify for the NAIA Cross Country National Championships. In her first race she ran a time of 21:17 at the Romp on the Ridge hosted by Hutchinson Community College. Branscum ran a time of 22:04 at the ESU Invitational. She finished with a time of 20:36 to help OU finish second at the Haskell Indian Nations Invitational. Branscum ran a time of 19:55 at the Bethel Invitational, helping OU to a first place finish. She finished with a time of 19:05 at the Mid State Classic hosted by Southwestern College. Branscum ran a career best time at the KCAC Championships, 18:57.8. She finished nationals with a time of 20:09.4.

High School: Branscom earned four letters in cross country, three in basketball, and four in track for Ulysses High School. She was a two-time Kansas State Cross Country participant. On the track, Branscom was a member of the UHS 4x400M school record relay team. She ran the 1600M, the 800M, and the 4x400M Relay for the Tigers.

Personal: Daughter of Lew and Trina Branscom ... born September 6, 1995 ... accounting major. Branscom enjoys watching the television show "Phineas and Ferb" and the movie "Finding Nemo."
