2022-23: Finished the Ottawa Fall Invitational with a score of 157 (77-80) to place 19^th. Salazar finished the Sam Proal Invitational in 59^th with a three round score of 246 (81-83-82). Had a score of 174 at the Tabor College Fall Invitational to finish 37^th. Shot a round one score of 81, a round two score of 77 and a round three score of 83 at the 4-HIM Classic to place 20^th. Salazar finished 53^rd at the Ottawa Spring Invitational with a two round score of 161 (87-77). Had a two round score of 159 to finish 61^st at the Prairie Dunes Collegiate. Salazar placed 40^th at the Bethany College Classic with a score of 160 (82-78). Earned a finish of 32^nd at the KCAC Championships with a four round score of 312 (78-79-77-78).

High School: Salazar has earned All-Conference Honors for four straight years, All-District Honors for four years and All-State Honors for two years. He has also lettered in golf in all four years at El Dorado Springs and one letter in football.
