Jacob Karen enters his first year as a remote specialist for the Ottawa University Esports program.

Karen has had extensive consulting and intern experience in the world of esports, as well as in the tech and business community. Since June 2022, he has managed two different esports organizations and serves as their head coach; EKO Esports Ltd. And Iced Up RLCS. He has also done remote work as the head coach of Team WaVii, an esports organization competing out of the Middle East and Northern Africa. 

Outside of Esports, Karen is currently an Intern Consultant for the office of David Trone, Maryland’s sixth district representative in congress. He also just started a remote position in August for Tunabear Consulting in Dallas, Texas as a SQL Application Developer Intern.

Karen currently attends the prestigious College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and is on track to graduate in May of 2023.  He is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analytics & Data Science,  and minor in Computer Science.
