Coach Lewis is in his first season as an assistant coach with the OU men's basketball program after spending three seasons as a student and graduate student assistant with the program. As a graduate student assistant, he coached the JV Gold team and was an assistant with the junior varsity programs as a student assistant.
He did an internship at Central Heights High School and was an assistant boys basketball coach for the Vikings during the 2021-22 season. Lewis was also the head freshman team coach at CHS.
Lewis was a member of the OU men’s basketball team for the 2020-21 season and played at Neosho Community College.
Lewis graduated from Ottawa in May of 2022 with a degree in sports studies. He was named to the Dean’s List. Lewis graduated from Neosho Community College in May of 2020 with an associates of arts and science. Lewis earned his masters in secondary education from OU.
