2022-23: Cheatem was a member of the varsity reserve teams as a redshirt sophomore. He appeared in six games at the varsity level, averaging 1.7 points and 0.7 rebounds per game. Cheatem shot 44.4 percent from the floor, and 40 percent from behind the 3-pt line.

2021-22: Cheatem played in nine games, averaging 1.1 points and 0.1 rebounds per game. He shot 50 percent from the floor.

2020-21: Cheatem was a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman.
High School: Cheatem lettered in basketball and track at Grandview Christian Academy. He helped GCS to a 2017, 2018, and 2019 MCSAA Basketball State Championship and a 2019 MCSAA Track and Field State Championship. He was named Most Improved in 2018 and 2019 in track. Cheatem was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Mario and Angela Cheatem ... biology major. Cheatem is also a member of the OU track and field program.
