2015-16: Govert tied for 34th at the Park University Fall Classic with a two round score of 177 (95, 82). He shot an 86 in round one, a 76 in round two, and an 89 in round three to finish 56th at the Southern Plains Intercollegiate. At the KCAC #1 Tournament, Govert tied for 18th with a three round total of 247 (80, 84, 83). He tied for 36th at the Evangel Fall Invitational, shooting an 85 in round one, a 73 in round two, and an 80 in round three. Govert finished tied for 33rd at the KCAC #2 Tournament with a three round score of 244 (83, 82, 79). He tied for 34th at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate, shooting a two round score of 174 (90, 84). Govert shot an 81, and an 82 at the A. W. Tillinghast Intercollegiate to tie for 41st.
2014-15: At the Ottawa Fall Invitational, Govert finished tied for 25th with a two round total of 163 (80, 83). He tied for third at the Warrior Invitational, shooting a 74 in round one and a 70 in round two. Govert placed 26th at the Park University Fall Classic with a 90 in round one and an 86 in round two. He finished 45th with a two round total of 173 (88, 85) at the Ashford Invitational. Govert tied for 45th with an 81 in round one and an 87 in round two at the Ottawa Spring Invitational. He finished 38th at the KCAC Men’s Regular Season Meet at Rolling Meadows. Govert finished with a score of 81 in round one, 83 in round two, and 86 in round three. He placed 54th at the Bethel Spring Invitational with a two round score of 163 (78, 85). Gover tied for 34th at the Evangel Spring Invite with a first round score of 91 and a second round score of 77. He finished 39th at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate with a score of 170 (84, 86).
2013-14: In his first collegiate tournament, Govert finished tied for ninth at the OU Fall Invitational with a two round total of 166. He placed eighth at the South Central Kansas Fall Invitational, shooting an 80 in both rounds. Govert helped the Braves to a second place finish at the Blue Devil Fall Classic with a two round total of 184. He tied for 37th with a 91 in round one and an 80 in round two at the Swede Spring Invitational. Govert placed 87th at the Bethel Spring Invitational, shooting a 189. He finished 15th at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate (183). Govert finished 34th at the KCAC Men’s Golf Championship, shooting an 88 in round one, an 83 in round two, and an 87 in round three.
High School: Govert was a four year letter winner in golf and basketball for Greely County High School. He also earned three letters on the football field and one on the cross country course. On the basketball court, Govert helped GCHS to three state tournament appearances, earning a 1A-DII state title in 2011. He helped his cross country team capture a 2012 1A State Championship. Govert was a four time state qualifier on the golf course, with his best finish coming his senior season tying for 1st place out of 84 golfers.
