2015-16: Blaue earned Daktronic Scholar Athlete honors, was named to the Capital One First Team Academic All-District 3 College Division, and was named to the Association of Student-Athletes for the second straight year. He tied for sixth at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate with a two round total of 158 (82, 76). Blaue shot a 79 in round one and a 78 in round two to finish fourth at the Park University Fall Classic. He finished with a three round total of 249 to place 53rd (82, 83, 84) at the Southern Plains Intercollegiate. At the KCAC #1 Tournament at Sycamore Ridge, Blaue finished 17th, shooting a 79 in round one, 81 in round two, and 84 in round three. He tied for 40th at the Evangel Fall Invitational by shooting a 78 in both round one and two and an 83 in round three. Blaue tied for 14th at the KCAC #2 Tournament shooting an 82 in round one, a 75 in round two, and a 74 in round three (231). He tied for 17th at the A.W. Tillinghast Intercollegiate with a two round score of 155 (74, 81).
2014-15: As a sophomore, Blaue finished tied for 33rd at the Ottawa Fall Invitational with a two round total of 165. He finished tied for 46th at the Warrior Invitational, shooting an 86 in round one and a 75 in round two. Blaue helped the Braves to the Park University Fall Classic team championship. He finished 19th with an 84 in round one and an 80 in round two. Blaue tied for 17th at the Ashford Invitational with a two round total of155 (79, 76). He placed 49th at the Ottawa Spring Invitational with an 88 in round one and an 83 in round two. Blaue was part of a third place team finish at the KCAC Men’s Regular Season Meet helped at Rolling Meadows. He tied for 21st and shot a 79 in round one, a 78 in round two, and a 75 in round three. Blaue placed 93rd at the Bethel Spring Invitational with an 87 in round one and an 85 in round two. At the Evangel Spring Invite, he finished tied for 24th with a two round total of 165 (88, 77). Blaue tied for 13th at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate with a 74 in round one and a 79 in round two. At the KCAC Conference Championship, Blaue finished 29th, shooting an 84 in round one, an 81 in round two and an 80 in round three.
2013-2014: In his first collegiate tournament, Blaue finished eighth at the OU Fall Invitational with a two round total of 163. He finished tied for 26th at the South Central Kansas Fall Invitational, shooting an 86 in round one and an 88 in round two. Blaue helped the Braves to a second place finish at the Blue Devil Fall Classic with a two round total of 169. He shot a 79 in both rounds of the Swede Spring Invitational to tie for 25th. Blaue shot a two round total of 174 at the Bethel Spring Invitational to tie for 66th. He placed 10th at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate with two round total of 174. At the South Central Kansas Spring Invite, Blaue finished 23rd with a 166. He helped the Braves to a third place finish at the KCAC Men’s Golf Championship with a three round total of 236 to finish tied for 10th. He shot a 79 in both round one and two. Blaue then shot a 78 in round three.
High School: Blaue was a four year letter winner in golf for Ottawa High School. He also earned two letters in basketball. Blaue is a three-time state golf participant, competing in Hesston in 2010, at Prairie Pines in Hutchinson, Kan. in 2011 and at Cheney-Cherry Oaks Golf Course in Chaney, Kan. in 2013. On the basketball court, Blaue helped the Cyclones to two Kansas State Basketball 4A runner up finishes (2011, 2012) and one State Championship (2013).
Personal: Son of Mike and Becky Blaue … business administration major. Both of his parents are Ottawa University graduates. Mike played basketball for the Braves from 1984-87 and his mother Becky play volleyball for the Lady Braves from 1985-87.
