Alley is in his first season as a student assistant for the Ottawa men's lacrosse team, after playing three seasons for the Braves.

Alley finished his Ottawa career playing in 36 games, making seven starts. He tallied 42 career goals, 45 career assists, took 160 total shots, had a shot percentage of 26.1%, 145 career ground balls, and forced 20 turnovers.

Alley is the son of James and Jodi Alley and is majoring in business administration. His father James is a 1981 graduate of Ottawa University.
