Jovana Ivanovic

Coach Ivanovic is in her second year as a graduate assistant coach with the men’s and women’s soccer programs. She specializes as a goalkeeper coach for the two programs.

She was a four-year letterman at Lindsey Wilson College where she was a part of four Mid-South Conference Tournament championship teams and three regular season championships. As a goalkeeper, she appeared in 46 games, earning 40 starts. Over her career, she made 180 saves, recording a .837 save percentage. She also earned 16 shutouts. Her junior season, she recorded 58 saves, seventh all-time for a single season at Lindsey Wilson College.

She is a two-time All-Conference Second Team selection, a two-time Daktronics NAIA Women’s Scholar-Athlete honoree, a 2019 NAIA Champion of Character and made Academic All-Conference three times.

From 2014-16 she served as goalkeeper on the Serbian National Team in UEFA Women’s Championship League.

While at Lindsey Wilson College, Ivanovic served as secretary for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee to help improve athletic participation in local community service and college athletics. She also helped volunteered with Adair County Youth Soccer’s Little Kickers program in Columbia, Ky, teaching children and youth fundamentals, safety and regulations and creating curriculum based on each child’s age, skill and abilities.

 In addition, she volunteered with Youth Soccer Outreach to help teach soccer fundamentals in areas where no AYSO program was available. She created lessons to reinforce the five core values (Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership) as part of the NAIA National Volunteer Program.  

Ivanovic graduated with a double major in general psychology and general communication in May of 2020 from Lindsey Wilson College. She was a member of the Lambda Pi Eta honor society of the National Communication Association and earned Outstanding Graduate in Psychology for Achievement and Purpose.
