Coach Pow is in his first season as head coach of the OU men's soccer program.

Pow comes to OU after being the Assistant Director of Coaches for the Whatcom FC Rangers in Bellingham, Wash. He oversaw coaches and players for all teams in the U13-U19 boy’s soccer program. Pow helped oversee tryouts and finalized rosters for the teams. He submitted coaching assignments, tournament schedules and league-placement recommendations to the Technical Director and the Director of Coaching. Pow was also head coach for three of the Whatcom FC Ranger teams and developed camps, clinics and supplemental training sessions for the players. 

Prior to his time with the Whatcom FC Rangers, Pow was the Director of Player Development for the Puma Futbol Club in Overland Park, Kan. While there, he designed and ran practices for the boy’s and girl’s teams, created recruiting plans for high school players, attended and coached games for designated teams, provided weekly performance feedback for teams and individual players, and ran skill programs in addition to team practices designed to improve technical ability.

Pow was an assistant coach with Avila University’s women’s soccer program while working with the Puma Futbol Club. He assisted the head coach with all aspects of the soccer program, including practice planning, game day strategies and identifying and recruiting players. 

Pow played professional soccer for the Hibernian Football Club in Edinburgh, Scotland, training and playing with the first team, the reserve team and the U19 team. He represented the Scotland National Team over 20 times (U14-U19).

Pow attended Missouri Valley College and was a two-year letterman in the men’s soccer program. He was a two-time All-HAAC forward and helped MVC to the 2010 HAAC Tournament Championship. Pow graduated from MVC in 2011 with a degree in exercise science.
