2022-23: Ugarteche earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. He finished the season with a singles record of 14-4 and a doubles record of 13-4. In singles, Ugarteche had a dual record of 14-4 and a KCAC mark of 9-1. He finished the season with a 2-1 record in no. 1 singles, a 2-0 mark in no. 2 singles, a 5-1 record in no. 3 singles, a 4-2 record of in no. 4 singles, and a record of 1-0 in no. 5 singles. In doubles, Ugarteche had a mark of 13-4 in duals and 9-1 in the KCAC. He ended the season with a record of 5-0 in no. 1 doubles, 3-1 in no. 2 doubles, and 5-3 in no. 3 doubles. Ugarteche played with Jhoel Quinonez, Oscar Aguilera, and Julian Toloza. He is tied for ninth in the OU record book in single season singles wins (14) and sixth in single season doubles record by winning percentage (.764).

Prairie View A&M University: Ugarteche earned second and third place in singles at the Ron Westbrook Invitational Tournament at Lamar University.
