Oscar Aguilera
Entering his redshirt senior season, Aguilera has a record of 30-38 in singles and 24-33 in doubles. He is ranked fifth in the OU record book in career singles victories (30), third career wins in no. 3 singles (7), tied for third in career wins in no. 5 singles (7), and is tied for first in career wins in no. 6 singles (6). Aguilera is tied for second in the OU record book in career no. 2 doubles victories (10).
2022-23: In his third season as a Brave, Aguilera had a singles record of 10-12 and a doubles mark of 10-11. In singles, he had a record of 8-6 in duals, 2-6 in tournaments, and 6-3 in the KCAC. Aguilera went 1-0 in no. 4 singles, 4-1 in no. 5 singles, and 3-5 in no. 6 singles. He finished the season 5-4 in his last 10 singles matches. In doubles, Aguilera had a dual mark of 9-7, a record of 1-4 in tournament play, and a KCAC record of 6-3. He finished the season with a record of 4-4 in no. 1 doubles, 2-3 in no. 2 doubles, and 3-0 in no. 3 doubles. Aguilera competed with Erik Czapinski, Julian Toloza, Kevin Ugarteche, and Santiago Tartaglia in doubles.
2021-22: Aguilera finished the season with an overall singles record of 11-11. He had a record of 4-3 in the KCAC. In no. 4 singles, Aguilera had a record of 6-8. In doubles, he had a record of 11-10 and went 5-2 in the KCAC. In no. 2 doubles, Aguilera had a record of 8-5. He played doubles with Scott Hjelm, Jr., Luke Graham, and Jhoel Quinonez.
2020-21: Aguilera had a record of 6-7 in singles and a doubles record of 2-3 as a CoVID-19 freshman. He went 4-3 in KCAC play, had a record of 3-2 in no. 5 singles and a record of 3-4 in no. 6 singles. Aguilera finished the season with a no. 3 doubles record of 2-3. He partnered with Erik Czapinski and Jhoel Quinonez. With Czapinski, the duo finished with a doubles mark of 1-3. Quinonez and Aguilera had a mark of 1-0.
2019-20: Aguilera finished the season with a singles record of 3-8 and a doubles record of 1-9. He had a singles record of 2-3 in tournaments, was 1-5 in duals, and was 1-4 in no. 3 doubles. Aguilera paired with Claudio Quinones, Luke Kohler, and Lawson Medlen in doubles. He had a record of 1-2 with Quinones, a record of 0-3 with Kohler, and a record of 0-4 with Medlen.
Pima County Community College: Aguilera lettered in tennis in his one year at Pima CCC before transferring to OU.
High School: He played tennis under Jose Luis at Boliviano Americano before graduating in 2017. At one point, he was the no. 32 ranked tennis player in his home country of Bolivia.
Personal: Son of Maria Nelly Serrate ... engineering major. The Eagles are his favorite band, and his favorite soccer team is Real Madrid.
