Coach Brewster is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Ottawa University men’s volleyball program.
Brewster is an assistant coach with the MidAmerica Nazarene University women’s volleyball program.
Brewster worked for the MAVS Boys Volleyball program from 2019 to 2021. He ran clinics, consulted coaches, helped players get connected to colleges, and taught private skill lessons in the summers.
Brewster played professionally for Nordenskoy UIF in Denmark and coached their women’s team. As a player, he competed in the Volley Ligaen, the highest level in Denmark. Brewster helped his team to a Bronze Medal in the Danish Cup and a Silver Medal for the regular season. The women’s team played in the second division in the Danish League. When Brewster took over, halfway through the season, the team doubled their win record.
In the summer of 2019, 2020, and 2021, Brewster coached at Midwest Volleyball Performance. MVP connects professional volleyball players with coaches at the high school and middle school levels in the summers to prepare them for their seasons. Brewster ran camps and clinics for MVP.
Brewster coached at High Performance STL from 2014 to 2018. He coached girls 12 White and 14 White in 2014-15. In 2015-17, Brewster coached boys 18 Royal. That team qualified for the Open both years. In 2017-18, he coached a boys regional team. Brewster ran campus and clinics for HPSTL. He also did administrative work, organized tryouts, and built curriculum.
Brewster graduated from Lindenwood University with a bachelor of science in fashion business and entrepreneurship and a bachelor of arts in fashion design in 2019.
As a player, Brewster earned a Bronze Medal and was named an All-American at the Boy’s Junior National Championships in high school. Three times he was named Academic All-Conference, a team captain, was a two-time All-Conference selection at setter, and is ranked sixth in LU program history in career assists (2,886).
