Coach Williams is a graduate assistant with the Ottawa University men’s and women’s volleyball programs.
Williams moves into the coaching ranks after a decorated four-year playing career with the Braves. A 6-foot-6 middle blocker from Barbados, Williams was a four-time all-conference selection, earning Second Team All-GPAC honors in 2022, First Team All-GPAC honors in both 2023 and 2024, and First Team All-Heart recognition in 2025.
Williams established himself as one of the top blockers in program history during his time at Ottawa. Entering his senior season, he already held OU career records for total blocks and blocks per set. He also ranked second in career attacking percentage and third in career kills. In 2023, Williams led the NAIA in solo blocks and blocks per set while ranking third nationally in total blocks. He set an OU single-match record with 11 blocks and finished the 2023 season with a then-program-record 103 total blocks.
As a senior in 2025, Williams continued his strong play, earning First Team All-Heart honors after finishing the regular season with 180 kills, a .363 attacking percentage, 35 digs and 96 blocks. He averaged 1.2 blocks per set.
Williams also collected several individual honors during his collegiate career. He was a three-time GPAC Defensive Player of the Week and earned GPAC Attacker of the Week recognition in 2023. Williams was twice recognized nationally during his career, earning NAIA Defensive Player of the Week honors in both 2022 and 2023.
Prior to Ottawa, Williams competed internationally for Barbados. He was named Best Blocker at both the Caribbean Volleyball Championships and NORCECA competition and represented the Barbados National Team at the U19 and U21 levels. He also played club volleyball for Deacons Volleyball Team.
Williams earned his degree from Ottawa University in sports studies.
