Coach Sobot is in her first season as a graduate assistant coach with the OU men’s volleyball program.

Before coming to Ottawa University, Sobot has been a mental health patient advocate at the Behavioral Services Center in Chicago, Ill.

Sobot played four years of collegiate women’s volleyball with stops at Wingate University, Lindsey Wilson College and Western Wyoming Community College. She was named to the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2019, was a member of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society in 2017-18, was on the President’s List in 2017-18 at Wingate University, was named to the President’s List at Western Wyoming Community College in 2015-16, earned a NJCAA All-Academic Award in 2015-16, was named Outstanding Student-Athlete at WWCC in 2015-16, earned All-Academic Mid-South Conference honors in 2016-17.

Sobot graduated from Wingate University in December of 2018 with a bachelors of science in psychology. She earned an associate in arts degree in psychology from Western Wyoming Community College in the spring of 2016.

Sobot is working on her MBA in human resources from Ottawa University
