Coach Morris enters his first season as a graduate assistant with the Ottawa University men's and women's volleyball programs after completing a four-year playing career with the Braves.
A native of Barbados, Morris played middle blocker for the OU men's volleyball program from 2023 through 2026. During his career, he earned All-GPAC honors twice, receiving Honorable Mention recognition in 2023 and Second Team honors in 2024. He also left his mark in the Ottawa record book, including a 10-block performance that ranks among the top single-match totals in program history.
Morris capped his playing career with his best statistical season in 2026. He appeared in 29 matches and 112 sets, finishing with 182 kills, a .360 attacking percentage, 15 service aces, 52 digs and a team-high 105 blocks. He averaged 1.63 kills and 0.94 blocks per set.
Over his four seasons on the court, Morris totaled 475 kills, 283 blocks, 117 digs, 17 service aces and 15 assists. As a junior in 2025, he recorded 138 kills while hitting .340 and added 85 blocks. He finished his sophomore campaign with 92 kills, a .287 attacking percentage and 38 blocks after recording 63 kills and 55 blocks during his freshman season.
Morris graduated from Ottawa University with a bachelor's degree in computer science and transitioned into coaching following the completion of his playing career.
