Biography

2025: Launiu appeared in nine matches as a freshman for the Braves. He finished the season with 61 assists, six service aces, nine digs, and one block. 

High School: Launiu lettered in volleyball, bowling, and swimming at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii Campus. In 2021-22, he helped his team to a BIIF Championship and a fifth place finish at the HHSAA Boys Volleyball State Tournament. In 2022-23, the Warriors won the BIIF Championship and finished fourth at the state tournament. Launiu helped the Warriors to a 2023-24 BIIF runner-up finish and a seventh place finish at the state tournament. In bowling, he helped his team to a BIIF Championship. Launiu earned First Team All-League honors.

Personal: Son of Leinaala Launiu and Noah Launiu … biology major. He played club for Pilipaia Volleyball Club under coach Emil Osorio.
