Coach Milligan is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the OU cross country program.

Milligan comes to Ottawa University from St. John Fisher College, which is located in Pittsford, N.Y. He was an outstanding middle and long distance runner at St. John Fisher. Milligan set multiple school records, including the indoor 3,000 meter, indoor DMR, indoor 4 x 800 relay, outdoor 3,000 meter steeplechase, and outdoor 4 x 800 relay. Moreover, Milligan displayed impressive athletic progression, becoming NCAA Division III’s most improved cross country runner during his 5 years at Fisher. In 2016, Milligan set the school record in the 8,000 meter, posting a time of 25:01 at the Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships and becoming the schools first ever “All-Region” runner. He was twice named USTFCCA “All-Academic” Team in 2016 and 2018.  

Milligan graduated from St. John Fisher College in the spring of 2018 with a bachelors of science in sport management with a minor in ethics.
