Coach Stenuf is in his first season as an assistant coach with the OU cross country program.

Stenuf brings valuable experience from his resume of coaching stints, including time spent at Duke University as a member of the coaching staff that guided the program's first-ever, indoor, sub-four-minute miler and sub-14-minute 5,000m runner. He also worked with the University of Connecticut women's cross country team that finished eighth at the 2012 NCAA Division I Championships. This led to the honor of Big East Cross Country Staff of the Year. He also helped lead the men's indoor track and field team to the Big East Championship in 2012-13.

In addition, Stenuf earned his master’s degree in sports management from Florida State University while serving as the graduate assistant for the cross country and track and field teams.

Stenuf graduated Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science in Business Education. He competed in both cross country and track for the Golden Flyers, becoming the school’s first three-season All-American. Stenuf earned All-American honors once in cross country and twice in both indoor and outdoor track and field. His impressive list of accolades also includes being named the Empire 8 Conference Runner of the Year on five occasions after becoming the Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year. Stenuf was also tabbed the 2006 Atlantic Region Outdoor Runner of the Year.

Throughout his coaching career, Stenuf has continued to compete and successfully qualified for three U.S. Track & Field Championships in the 800 and 1500 Meters.
