High School: Spells lettered in lacrosse and played for championship teams in baseball and basketball while at Round Rock High School.

Personal: Son of Dorcas Moore and Daniel Spells ... sports medicine major. In his free time, Spells enjoys movies, music, and watching sports. His brother John Spells was a member of the OU men’s soccer team, earning All-KCAC honors at goalkeeper in 2019. Spells is also a member of the OU men's lacrosse team.
