2024 Indoor: Earned a finish of 46^th in the shot put at the Bearcat Invite in the shot put (9.19M) … Placed 26^th at the KCAC Championships in the shot put (9.24M).

2023 Outdoor: Finished 24^th in the shot put at the Bethel Invitational with a mark of 7.76M … Placed 20^th in the shot put at the KCAC Championships with a mark of 8.96M.

2023 Indoor: Placed 22^nd in the shot put with a mark of 9.50M at the KCAC Championships.

High School: He was a two-time captain for Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa, winning the Neb./Iowa State Championship in 2019 as the team's starting goalkeeper. Genzen was a dual athlete at Valley High School, also as a member of the football team. 

Personal: Son of Tom Genzen and Victoria Genzen-Topp ... communications major. Played club for the West Des Moines Lacrosse Club under coach Chad Thompson. He is also a member of the OU men’s lacrosse team.
