Coach Boyd is in his first season as a graduate assistant with the OU esports program.

Coach Boyd brings years of esports commentating experience to the Braves program and is a recent graduate from Boise State, where he was a part of their esports production team.

Boyd will serve the Braves esports program facilitating practices in the arena, head the commentary line for broadcasts, and will help lead efforts to begin event planning.

Boyd is no stranger to a leadership role. In addition to his esports duties, he coached high school basketball while attending Boise State. He also was spent time tutoring other students and worked as a contracted delivery driver for Amazon where he was consistently one of the top drivers in his area.

He graduated from Boise State in May of 2021 with a history degree. He plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree from Ottawa University. He is an avid sports fan and loves to watch and play a variety of sports as much as possible, especially golf and soccer. In his free time, Coach Boyd and his wife enjoy going on hikes together.
