Ottawa University

2013: Miller played and started in all 41 games in center field for the Lady Braves. She finished the season with 37 hits in 119 at bats for a .311 batting average. Miller scored 33 runs, hit 12 doubles, one homerun, drove in 21 runs, had a slugging percentage of .437, tallied 13 walks, had an on base percentage of .385, and was 18-for-22 in stolen base attempts. She had a career high three hits twice with the last being against Tabor College (5/3) when she went 3-for-3 at the plate. Miller drove in a career high three runs twice with the last being against Bethel College (4/3). She hit her first double as a Lady Brave against Baker University (2/9) and hit her first homerun against Bethel College (4/3).

Emporia State University: Miller earned two letters on the softball diamond for Emporia State University. As a sophomore, she appeared in 18 games. Miller had one hit in five at bats for a .200 batting average. She scored seven runs and was 1-for-1 in stolen base attempts. As a freshman, Miller appeared in 50 games and made 33 starts. She went 15-for-67 at the plate with five RBI and was a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts. Miller had a fielding percentage of .970 and finished the 2011 season with 29 put outs. She was a member of ESU’s back-to-back MIAA Championship teams including an undefeated conference season and a MIAA Tournament Championship in 2012. Miller was a member of the Emporia State Athletic Honor Roll.

High School: At Ottawa High School, Miller earned four letters in softball and three in basketball. She helped lead OHS to a 5A Kansas State Runner-Up finish in 2009 and to a state softball appearance in 2007. Miller was a First Team All-League selection for the Cyclones. She participated in the 18U USSSA World Series, was a member of the All-World Team, and on the basketball court helped OHS to a state appearance in 2010.
