High School: Goodney lettered in softball, volleyball, and track at Colorado High School. She was a TGCA 2A All-State softball player, earned First Team All-District, was named the District’s Offensive MVP, was a TGCA 1A-4A All-Star selection, earned All-Big County First team, and was named Colorado High Female Athlete of the Year. On the volleyball court, Goodney was a First Team selection and earned Defensive Co-MVP honors. As a member of the track and field team, she was an area qualifier. Goodney was also involved in National Honor Society, an officer on the Student Council, was a manger for the girls basketball team.
