Entering her senior season, Mercer is tied for ninth in the OU career record book in wins (20), tied for eighth in complete games (18), and 10th in strike outs (122).
2023: Mercer was named First Team All-KCAC and was selected as the KCAC Newcomer of the Year in her first season as a Brave. She played in 31 games, starting 28. Mercer pitched 18 complete games, had five shutouts, finished the season with a record of 20-6, tallied three saves, had a 2.23 ERA, and struck out 122 in 172.1 innings. She was named KCAC Pitcher of the Week once. Mercer is tied for fourth in the OU single season record book in pitching wins (20), sixth in innings pitched (172.1), 10th in ERA (2.23), fourth in games started (28), tied for seventh in complete games (18), eighth in strike outs (122)
Cowley College: In three years at Cowley College, Mercer appeared in 78 games. She had a record of 43-20, three saves, pitched 20 complete games, had a 3.11 ERA, and struck out 415 in 389 innings. In Mercer’s CoVID-19 sophomore season, she had a 2.44 ERA. She struck out 243 in 177.2 innings and finished the season with a record of 22-7. In 2022, Mercer earned First Team NJCAA Division II All-District. In 2021, she was named to the All-Conference and All-District teams.
High School: At Tonkawa High School, Mercer earned All-Region, All-District, and All-State honors for the Buccaneers.
Personal: Daughter of Jesse and Chrissy Mercer ... biology major. She played travel ball for the Tulsa Eagles under coach April Cross.
