Tia Kohl

Coach Kohl is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Ottawa University softball program.

Kohl was a head coach for the Wichita Sluggers Academy from January 2017 to August 2019. She taught girls ages 11 to 15 the fundamentals of softball. Kohl was in charge of pitching, infield, and outfield. She also called pitches and oversaw the line up for each game.

Kohl was also a youth sports camp counselor for the YMCA in the summer of 2021. She was in charge of children from ages 6 to 14, instructing and supervising.

Kohl was a member of the softball team at Barton Community College and Chadron State College. She was named NJCAA Region VI Co-MVP at BCC and had 159 strikeouts in 2019. Kohl graduated from BCC with an associates of arts and CSC with a degree in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. She graduated Magna Cum Laude. Kohl is working on her masters in applied psychology with a concentration in forensics from Ottawa University.
