High School: Johnson lettered in softball at Gretna East High School. She helped the Griffins to the 2024 Nebraska State Softball Tournament. In 2024, Johnson earned Varsity MVP honors, was an EMC Academic All-Conference selection, earned NCPA Academic All-State honors, and was an Honorable Mention EMCA selection. In 2025 Johnson was named Omaha World Herald Class B Honorable Mention.

Personal: Daughter of Sara and Kyle Johnson … psychology major. She is a third generation Brave and seven of her family members attended Ottawa University. Lee Johnson, Larry Johnson, Al Johnson, Kristi Johnson, Danny Johnson, and Jennifer Johnson have attended OU.
