2021-22: Guzman appeared in 16 games for the Braves, making one start in her CoVID sophomore season. She averaged 1.9 points and one rebound per game. Guzman shot 22.9 percent from the floor, 30.8 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 62.5 percent from the free throw line. She scored a career high 10 points against Barclay College.
2020-21: Guzman played in 26 games, making 11 starts as a sophomore. She shot 27.1 percent from the floor, 20 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 55 percent from the free throw line. Guzman averaged 1.8 points, one rebound and one assist per game.
2019-20: In her freshman season, Guzman played in 27 games. She averaged 0.6 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. Guzman shot 16.7 percent from the floor and 56.3 percent from the free throw line.
High School: Guzman earned four letters in track and basketball at Thomas Jefferson High School. On the basketball court, she was a two-time First Team All-District selection, earned Second Team All-District honors and was named Second Team All-Academic. In track, Guzman was a district champion, qualified for regionals, and a two-time Area Track qualifier.Â
Personal: Daughter of Lisa and Joe Guzman ... undecided on a major. Guzman played travel ball for the San Antonio Vipers under head coach Ernest Castillo. Guzman is also a member of the OU track and field team.
