Coach Maldonado is in her first season as a graduate assistant coach with the OU women’s basketball program.

Before coming to OU, Maldonado was a Claims Process Adjuster with Progressive Insurance Company in Cleveland, Ohio. While with Progressive, she investigated and processed automobile insurance claims.  In the summer of 2015, Maldonado worked as the Girl's Basketball Specialist at Camps Kenwood and Evergreen in Wilmot, New Hampshire where she was in charge of the basketball program and the athletes who played for the camp.

From August 2011 to January 2013, Maldonado served as Office Secretary and Athletic Facility Manager at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. She maintained the front desk of the CU Athletic Department which included game day operations. Maldonado organized all aspects of the recruitment process, facilitated tours for incoming freshman, and hosted students and families during on-campus visits.

Maldonado as served as tournament coordinator and coach at Score More Athletic Company in Cleveland, Ohio from April 2011 to July 2012. She managed youth basketball tournaments and venues. Maldonado oversaw all aspects of operations including concessions, merchandise, and information requests from players, parents, and referees.  She was a CYO/Lake Erie League Statistician and Site Director in Strongsville, Ohio. There she worked as a statistician and site director for two local youth basketball leagues. She was responsible for keeping stats, score keeping, and coordinating referees and players at the MAQ Center.

Maldonado graduated from Ohio University in May of 2015 with a bachelor of science in communication studies. She specialized in organizational and critical communication. Maldonado minored sports administration and business. While at Ohio University she was a walk-on on the women’s basketball team.

Maldonado is getting her masters in curriculum and instructionfrom Ottawa University.
