Coach Grant is in her second season as an assistant coach with the OU women’s basketball program.
Before coming to OU, Grant was an assistant coach at Xavier University of New Orleans (2015-2020) where she worked with Brave head coach Tarniesha Scott. While at Xavier, she oversaw guard development along with weight room and conditioning workouts. Grant helped with recruiting, assisted with community service activities, did fundraising, team study halls, film sessions, scouting reports, assisted with practices and team camps, and did film breakdown.
Grant played at Xavier from 2008 to 2012. She helped lead the Gold Nuggets to three GCAC Championships and three trips to the NAIA Division I Basketball Tournament with one Sweet 16 appearance. Grant was a two-time All-GCAC selection, is ranked second in the Xavier record book in career 3-pt field goals made (203), was twice named team captain, and helped the Gold Nuggets to a four year record of 104-31.
Grant graduated from Xavier in May of 2013 with a degree in accounting and a minor in business administration. She received her masters in accountancy from Ashford University in October of 2018. Grant is currently working towards her second master degree, this one in sports administration, from Arkansas State University.
