Swartz is in his first season as a student assistant for the Ottawa University bowlling programs. He spent three seasons on the OU men's bowling team.

2019-20: Swartz playedin 39 games as a senior, He played in 11 Tier 1 games and and 28 Tier 2 games. Swartz had a 6489 pin total and a 1649.586 pin average. He had a season high 1094 pin total at Andy B's Team Chllenge and a season high 206 average at the Hoosier Classic.

2018-19: Swartz played in 30 games in his junior season. He played in 15 Tier 1 games and 15 Tier 2 games. Swartz had a 5082 pin total and a 169.4 average. He had a season high 828 pin total at the Hoosier Classic and a season high 222 average at the Team Match Games.

2017-18: In his first collegiate season, Swartz had a pin total of 8540 and a 167.45 average. He played in 51 games. Swartz had a season high 1079 pins and a 179.83 average at the Rebel Invitational.

High School: Swartz earned three letters in bowling for Derby High School. He was a three-time regional participant for DHS. Swartz has been bowling for eight years.
