Biography

2020-21: Hickey bowled in 17 games for the Braves and compiled an average of 178.118 as a junior. She earned 32nd at the Baker NAIA Invitational with a pin total of 813 and an average of 162.6 through five team games. At the Mid-States Championships, Hickey earned 34th with a pin total of 923 and an average of 184.6 through five team games.

2019-20: Hickey played in 55 games as a sophomore, 27 Tier 1 Event games and 28 Tier 2 Event games. She finished the year with a 9874 pin total and an average of 179.5. Hickey had a pin total of 4815 and a 178.3 average in Tier 1 Event games. In Tier 2 Event games, she had a pin total of 5059 and a 180.6 average. Hickey had a career high pin total of 1244 at the Las Vegas Invitational and a career high 199.6 average at the Hoosier Classic. Hickey was named to the All-Tournament team at the NAIA Regional Grouping Tournament.

2018-19: In her freshman season, Hickey played in 50 games. She finished the season with a pin total of 8725 and a 175.5 average. Hickey played in 26 Tier 1 games and 24 Tier 2 games. She was named a 2018-19 NCBCA Collegiate Scholar Athlete. Hickey had a season high 1101 pin total twice, at the Mid-States Tournament and the Leatherneck Classic. She had a season high average of 183.5 at the Mid-States Tournament.

High School: Hickey was named to the Dexter High School All-American Team during the 2017-18 season. She has a High Game of 279, a three game High Series of 727 and a two game High Series of 510. In 2015, her high school average was 173, in 2016 it rose to 193 and in 2017 increased again to 206. Hickey has won numerous bowling awards. In 2015 she was the Ohio state High School Division II Champion, and in 2017 she placed fifth at the Ohio State High School Division II Tournament. She was a Western Michigan Junior Gold Tournament Champion, earned first place in 2016 at the Orland Bowl, was named First Team All-Ohio in 2015 and 2017, was the Bryan Bears Champion, was named First Team All-State in 2015 and 2017, and was named the NWOAL vs. NLL Conference Challenge Champion in 2017.

Hickey was a three time NWOAL First Team All-Conference selection and she was also the NWOAL High Average Champion in 2017. She twice was named First Team All-District and finished second at the Ohio State Pepsi in 2017. Hickey finished third at the Ohio State Junior Masters and  finished second at the Pro-Am at Junior Gold. She helped her team to a sixth place finish at the Ohio State High School Division II Tournament in 2015. Hickey also helped lead them to three (2015, 2016, 2017) NWOAL Championships and to a first place finish in both the District and Sectional Tournaments in 2015.

Hickey has excelled outside of bowling as well. She is a member of the National Honor Society, was named to the 2016 High School Ohio State Honor Roll, is a published poet, has spent three years as a 4-H Camp Counselor, three times earned her high school’s Marching Band Varsity Award, earned Outstanding of the Day 4-H Gun Safety in 2017, was named Academic All-Ohio, earned High Merit for a Ceramic Project, earned Outstanding of the Day 4-H Archery in 2015, was 4-H Club President for four years, and is a chapter fictional book writer. In 2016 and 2017 was named Outstanding Ohio Scholar, an academic and athletic award.
