2014: Wherrell finished the Haskell Indian Nations Invitational with a time of 28:00. She ran a time of 26:12 at the Bethel Invitational. Wherrell ran a time of 27:13.8 at the KCAC Championships.
2013: Wherrell ran a time of 26:00.47 to finish 74th at the KCAC Cross Country Championships.
2012: Wherrell finished 83rd at the CC Invitational hosted by Colorado College with a time of 31:20. She ran a time of 23:49.31 to place 88th at the Haskell Indian Nations University Invitational. Wherrell placed 40th at the OU Invitational with a time of 25:00. She ran a time of 24:05.3 to place 53rd at the KCAC Cross Country Championships.
2011: Wherrell, in her first collegiate race, finished seventh at the OU Road Race with a time of 22:35. She ran a time of 29:17.1 to finish 198th at the Roy Griak Cross Country Invitational. Wherrell finished 35th at the Haskell Indian Nations University Invite with a time of 22:31.84. She ran a time of 23:04.09 to finish 39th at the KCAC Cross Country Championships.
High School: Wherrell earned four letters in cross country and track for Seaman High School. She earned All-City honors in cross country. Wherrell has a career best time of 2:30 in the 800M, a career best in the 1600 of 5:45, and a career best of 12:42 in the 3200. She was a four time All-Academic team selection.
Personal: Daughter of Laurie Wherrell ... born December 25, 1992 ... psychology major. She enjoys eating at KiKu’s Japanese Steak House and likes for dessert, cheesecake. Wherrell loves to read and bike and enjoys the television show “Two and a Half Men.”
