2023 Indoor: Had a season’s best throw of 13.40M at the KCAC Championships in the shot put, earning first place and All-KCAC honors … Finished 21
st at the NAIA National Championships in the shot put with a throw of 12.78M … Had a throw of 12.11M in the weight throw at the WU Rust Buster.
2022 Outdoor: Barber had a throw of 37.47M in the javelin to finish seventh and placed 14
th in the shot put with a mark of 11.15M at the Wes Kittley Invitational … Captured the championship in the javelin with a throw of 39.39M at the Southwestern College Jinx Invite … Placed eighth at the Wichita State KT Woodman Classic in the javelin with a throw of 39.26M … Earned a finish of 14
th at the Drake Relays in the javelin with a throw of 38.49M … Won her second straight KCAC Championship in the javelin with a toss of 40.49M … Earned All-KCAC honors in the shot put at the KCAC Championships with a throw of 11.97M … Placed seventh at the NAIA National Championships with a throw of 42.81M to earn NAIA All-American honors.
2022 Indoor: Barber had a throw of 11.93M in the shot put at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic … Placed eighth at the Washburn All-Kansas Invite in the shot put with a throw of 12.28M … Competed in the shot put at the Washburn Open, finishing 14
th with a mark of 11.42M … Had a throw of 10.15M in the shot put at the Bearcat Invite … Placed first in the shot put (12.53M) and fourth in the weight throw (12.64M) at the Bill Butterworth Open … Barber finished 12
th in the weight throw at the KCAC Championships … Earned All-KCAC honors with her second place finish at the KCAC Championships
2021 Outdoor: Barber led the pack at the KCAC Championships with a 35.87m throw, also earning her KCAC Status… She qualified for Nationals with a 39.09m toss at the Tabor Invitationals… She also earned All-KCAC honors in the shot put with an 11.34m toss… Her season-high was 11.76m in the Friends Invitational… Threw the hammer 25.60m at the SBU Bearcat Invite… Discus throw of 30.45m at the SBU Bearcat Invite, a career high.
2021 Indoor: Earned All-KCAC honors with her season-high 11.43m throw in the shotput.
High School: Barber lettered in volleyball, basketball, cheer, and track at Wabaunsee High School. She led the Chargers to three Kansas State Volleyball Tournament appearances, finishing with a state championship in 2019 and a runner up finish in 2018. On the basketball court, Barber helped WHS to three Kansas State Basketball Tournaments. The Chargers finished second in 2017 and third in 2019. Barber threw the javelin for WHS, placing fifth and eighth at the Kansas State Track and Field Championships. She was a two-time All-League and All-State selection in volleyball.
Personal: Daughter of Dylan and Angie Barber ... sports studies major. Barber purchased ducks because she thought it would be fun to have ducks. Barber played club volleyball for Attack Volleyball under head coach Kevin Bittner.
