Jonathan Wilkins

Coach Wilkins is in his first year as a graduate assistant coach with the OU men's soccer program.

Prior to joining the OU coaching staff, Wilkins spent seven years (2008-2015) as the development director and director of goalkeeping for the Bridlemile Soccer Club (BSC Oregon) in Portland, Ore.  While at BSC Oregon, Wilkins was the head coach for three teams on the girls’ side of the club, with responsibility for planning and running practices.

While at BSC Oregon, Wilkins was also the Beaverton High School varsity girls’ head coach in Beaverton, Ore. (2013-2015). He oversaw the varsity program and two junior-varsity programs. He led BHS to two consecutive playoff appearances. Prior to becoming the head coach at BHS, Wilkins was the goalkeeper coach for BHS.

Before working for BHS and BSC Oregon, Wilkins was part of the Colorado Rush Staff from 2006-2008. There, he worked with the development program and taught youth soccer players the basics of soccer.  He also ran the goalkeeper side of the development program, which included creating and running each training session.

Wilkins has his USSF National “B” Coaching License and a NSCAA Level 3 Goalkeeping Certificate. He has 20 years of playing experience, including four years at the collegiate level and one year in a professional development league. Wilkins graduated from Concordia University (Ore.) in December of 2010, majoring in business administration and minoring in accounting.
