High School: Westerman earned four letters in tennis, two in soccer, and one in swimming for Junction City High School. She is a two-time participant in the Kansas 6A State Tennis Tournament, was a two-time all-league selection, and in 2011 finished with a 27-13 record.  

Personal: Daughter of Gary and Eun Me Westerman ... born July 8, 1994 ... physical education major.
