Vazquez is in her first season as a graduate assistant with women's wrestling program after spending the 2021-22 season as a graduate student assistant with the  Athletic Performance program.

Vazquez was a member of the OU women’s wrestling program and the women’s powerlifting program. She graduated from OU with a degree in exercise science in May of 2021.

While at OU, Vazquez was a COF volunteer, was part of Kansas Kids Fitness Day, and did an internship with Neu Physical Therapy in Lawrence, Kan.
