High School: Johnson was part of the Olathe West Owls state wrestling team. She also excelled in softball by playing in two All-Star games. Johnson received an endorsement in the 21^st Century Academy for Green Technology and Engineering. Johnson was a member of the first Olathe West Women's Wrestling team. She played softball for the Owls and competed in club softball for 10 years. Johnson was manager for football for four years and excelled in weightlifting as well.
